Service Terms
1. Scope
These terms outline the conditions under which Groovecraft Turntable Works (“we”, “our”) provides turntable diagnostics, repair, and setup services. By submitting a repair request or bringing equipment to our workshop, you agree to these terms.
2. Assessment and Estimates
All turntables are inspected before any work begins. Once the initial diagnostic is complete, we provide a written or email estimate. No additional tasks are carried out without your approval. Estimates remain valid for 30 days from the date issued.
3. Parts and Materials
We use compatible or original components where possible. Some vintage models require alternative parts sourced through approved suppliers. Replaced items are not returned unless specifically requested at intake.
4. Service Time
Typical service turnaround is 5–10 working days depending on part availability. Delays due to external suppliers or unforeseen issues are communicated promptly. We strive to maintain transparency about timelines.
5. Collection and Storage
Equipment should be collected within 14 days of completion notice. After 30 days, a storage fee may apply to cover safe keeping. After 90 days without contact, uncollected items may be disposed of under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
6. Payment
Payments are accepted via cash or card upon collection. Invoices are provided electronically. No work is released until the outstanding balance is settled in full.
7. Liability
While every effort is made to handle each item carefully, Groovecraft Turntable Works cannot be held responsible for inherent faults or age-related failures that arise independently of the completed repair. All work is documented and tested before return.
8. Data and Privacy
Customer data is processed according to our Data Use Notice. We retain service records for administrative and legal compliance.
